Privacy Policy
Effective date: 3 May 2026 · Last updated: 3 May 2026
1. Who we are
CreatorPro (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a software product operated by Corbin Sylk, an Australian citizen currently based in Thailand. For privacy questions or data requests, contact us at corbin@gensocials.com.
2. Scope
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use creatorpro.co, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can control it. It applies to anyone who creates an account or connects an Instagram account through our platform.
3. Data we collect
Account data. When you sign up we store your email address, a hashed password, and basic profile details you provide.
Instagram data. When you connect your Instagram account through Instagram Login, we receive and store:
- Your Instagram user ID and username
- A long-lived access token (valid for 60 days, refreshed automatically)
- The expiration date of that token
- Metadata about your published Instagram posts: caption, media type, permalink, thumbnail URL, video URL, and timestamp
- Performance metrics for your posts: reach, impressions, likes, saves, shares, comments, video views, average watch time, follows, and profile visits
We do not collect direct messages, follower lists, or content from accounts other than your own connected account.
Usage data. We log standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) to operate and secure the service.
Content you upload. If you upload CSV exports or other files, we store them in our database against your account.
4. How we use your data
We use the data above to:
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Display your Instagram performance inside the dashboard
- Calculate scores (viral, ad, lead) and recommendations across your content
- Track the performance of advertised reels (the ad tracker feature)
- Generate AI-assisted content suggestions when you request them
- Diagnose bugs and improve the product
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising outside our own product.
5. Who we share data with
We use a small number of vendors to operate the service. These are data processors acting on our instructions:
- Vercel, Inc. — application hosting
- Supabase, Inc. — database, authentication, file storage
- OpenAI, L.L.C. and Anthropic, PBC — AI features (only the specific text content you submit for generation is sent, never your raw Instagram data set)
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — receives only the OAuth requests required to authenticate you
We do not share Instagram data with anyone else. We do not sell or rent personal data.
We may disclose data when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (in which case we will notify you in advance).
6. Where data is stored
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by Vercel and Supabase. Data may be processed in regions that include the United States and the European Union depending on routing. By using the service you consent to this processing.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data is kept while your account is active.
- Instagram tokens and connected-account metadata are kept while your Instagram account is connected.
- If you disconnect your Instagram account, or remove the CreatorPro app from your Instagram settings, the token, user ID, username, and token expiration are erased automatically within minutes.
- If you delete your account, we erase your account data within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain a record.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, email corbin@gensocials.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. Disconnecting Instagram and deleting Instagram data
You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time in two ways:
- Inside CreatorPro — use the disconnect option on your account page.
- Inside Instagram — go to Settings → Apps and Websites → Active, find CreatorPro, and click Remove. Instagram will notify us, and we will erase your access token, Instagram user ID, username, and any cached Instagram post data tied to your account.
To request deletion of all Instagram data we hold about you, visit creatorpro.co/data-deletion-status or email corbin@gensocials.com with the subject line “Instagram data deletion”.
10. Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
11. Children
CreatorPro is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact corbin@gensocials.com and we will delete it.
12. Security
We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS for all traffic, encrypted database connections, hashed passwords, and access controls on production data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will email you and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
